Eid al-Fitr Prayer 2025

Monday, March 3, 2025

The Islamic Society and Cultural Center of Hyde Park (ISCCH) joyfully welcomed the community to celebrate Eid al-Fitr on Monday, March 3, 2025. This blessed occasion marked the completion of the spiritually enriching month of Ramadan and served as a beautiful culmination of our collective devotion.

The event, held in the same spacious and welcoming venue, was filled with a palpable sense of triumph and gratitude. The community gathered in a massive congregation for the special Eid prayer, thanking Allah (SWT) for the strength, patience, and guidance granted throughout the fasting month.

Highlights of the Celebration

The day was a vibrant showcase of community spirit and renewed bonds:

  • Communal Prayer: The morning began with the inspiring Salat al-Eid, bringing together families, friends, and neighbors in unity after the prayer.
  • Family Joy: Children, dressed in their finest new clothes, brought immense joy and cheer to the venue. The ISCCH made sure to create a festive environment where our youngest members could experience the happiness of Eid.
  • Fellowship and Feast: Following the prayer and Khutbah (sermon), the venue transformed into a space for warm fellowship. The celebration continued with the sharing of food and sweets, symbolizing the “breaking of the fast” after a month of abstinence.
  • Charity and Gratitude: In keeping with the spirit of the day, the community ensured that the obligation of Zakat al-Fitr was fulfilled, allowing all members, regardless of their circumstances, to partake in the happiness of Eid.

Moving Forward with Imaan

We extend our deepest thanks to every individual who attended and to our dedicated volunteers and organizing team for their monumental effort in managing this highly attended event. Your commitment is what makes the ISCCH community strong and vibrant.

May Allah (SWT) accept all of our fasting, our prayers, our charity, and our good deeds throughout Ramadan, and may He shower His endless blessings upon you and your families.

Eid Mubarak!
