Ramadan Iftar & Fundraising 2025
Nourishing Souls: Iftar and the Spirit of Giving
The Islamic Society and Cultural Center of Hyde Park (ISCCH) hosted a successful and spiritually enriching Ramadan Iftar and Fundraising event on Saturday, March 8, 2025. This gathering was much more than just breaking the fast; it was an evening dedicated to strengthening community bonds and extending help to those in need.
The Warmth of Togetherness
As the sun set and the call to Maghrib filled the air, the community gathered—not just to break the fast, but to nourish our souls in the warmth of togetherness. The glow of shared smiles, the murmur of heartfelt du’as, and the unity of hands reaching for the same blessings reminded us that our community is a sanctuary of love and faith.
Attendees came together at the new venue on Winthrop Street to share a meal, witnessing the true beauty of Ramadan in the simple yet profound act of sharing a meal. Your presence was a reminder that we are woven together by our faith, our kindness, and our unwavering support for one another.
Generosity for Hope
The fundraising portion of the evening was particularly moving. The Beloved Community responded with immense generosity, embodying the message: “As we break our fast together, let us open our hearts to those in need. Your generous support will bring hope and relief to many, In shā’ Allāh.”
We witnessed the true spirit of Islamic charity and cooperation, which enables the ISCCH to continue its vital services and outreach.
A Heartfelt Thank You
From the depths of our hearts—thank you. Your presence and generosity filled the Iftar with light, joy, and spiritual benefit. This is not just a community; it is a family, a home, a light that shines brighter with every soul that walks through its doors.
May Allah (SWT) fill your hearts with the same joy you brought to this gathering. May He multiply your blessings, ease your hardships, and keep us united in His divine mercy.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan!
